Carpet Shampoo Method

Carpet Shampoo Method
The exact theory behind this method is to evolve a lot of foam in the carpet which allow this foam to dry, have the resulting residue attract the soil and vacuum up the particles – residue and the soil the next day.
The main characteristics of this method are explained below.
1) Very high foam levels to reduce wetting.
2) Very stable foam.
3) High lubricity to reduce damage to the carpet fibers from the brushes.
4) Dry to a non-sticky residue.

In short, the carpet shampoo method must contain a very foamy chemical. The most common ingredient in this is the sodium lauryl sulfate or its matching family members. For example, sometime when you are taking a bath, please have a look on the ingredient statement on your hair shampoo bottle. It explains that "Contains sodium lauryl sulfate" or some other similar wordings. This chemical exhibit a very high and stable foam and are only fair detergents. The main disadvantage is that they dry to soft, sticky residue which will cause re-soiling. There are some measures to avoid this problem such as resin to reduce this tendency.
